Brimley Road Medical Centre (BRMC):
An old Community plaza was bought in September 2012, which was then occupied by a retiring doctor and a retiring pharmacist who occupied only 960 square feet. Now we have developed the whole Community Plaza building into a state-of-the-art medical centre.
The original address of this community plaza (1-15 Wenlock Gate, Scarborough) was officially changed to 3333 Brimley Road, Toronto in October 2012.
Immediately after purchasing the old plaza, we temporarily ran a medical (Family) clinic in one of the units as we tore down almost all of the front units, and developed a modern medical (Family) clinic.
The previous small pylon sign has been replaced with a new, tall pylon sign & Channel letters in the building.
The Family Clinic, Laboratory, and Pharmacy were developed first, and a grand opening was held on April 6th, 2013. Markham City Councillor Mr. Logan Kanapathy and Dr. Rajes Logan (President of CTMA) started the ceremony by lighting traditional lamps. The Family Clinic was officially opened by Ms. Radhika Sitsabaesan (Member of Parliament), the Laboratory services by Mr. Bas Balkisoon (Member of Provincial Parliament), and the Pharmacy by Toronto City Councillor Mr. Chin Lee.
